Mr. Samuel Upshaw is a 5^th grade ELA Educator at Grahamwood Elementary School. He has 2 sons and 2 daughters. He attended Shelby State, LeMoyne Owen College and Webster University. His favorite subjects as a child were Reading and English. Math was his least favorite subject. His favorite book as a child was Winnie the Pooh. Mr. Upshaw enjoys grilling, studying technology and reading. You might be surprised to know that Mr. Upshaw is a huge fan of the Walking Dead. If he won the lottery, his life would not change much, but there would be signs, LOL 😊. If he could change the world, there would be more empathy and understanding. His hope for this school year is to help his students achieve and reach their grade level and beyond.
