Hello East High parents! My name is Mr. Zach Emptage and I will be your child’s physics teacher this year. I grew up in Columbus, OH and went to college at a small school called Olivet Nazarene University that is about an hour outside of Chicago, IL. My wife Maya is a nurse at Le Bonheur Children’s hospital here in Memphis. When I am not at school, some of my main hobbies include running, watching sports with friends (Ohio State University football and anything NBA related are my favorites) and hanging out with my dogs Daisy and Charlie. I am really excited to get to know you this year and to be part of the East High community.
