Welcome to KK-03! I am Cathleen Villegas and I'm so excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher this year! I am from Houston, TX. After graduating from the University of Texas with my degree in Elementary Education, I moved to Memphis to pursue my masters in Urban Education. I graduated with my master's in 2018. This is my 5th year teaching and my 6th year in Memphis. Although I love Texas, Memphis is home! My husband and I got married this summer. He is also a teacher! I am eager to foster a love of learning, reading, and growing in your little ones this year. 

When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time with my husband, bake, read, go on walks, and eat at local Memphis restaurants.
