Welcome! I'm Ms. Laura LaPorte! This is my first year at Highland Oaks Middle School, but it is my 15th year teaching.  All fifteen years have involved teaching some form of Language Arts.  A little about me: I am a graduate of The University of Mississippi.  I have two children; a son, Logan, who graduated from Ole Miss in Accounting and a daughter, Kennedy, who is in Pharmacy School at Ole Miss.
