Mrs. Kenya Bond

Greetings, 

I am Kenya Bond, and this is my third  year teaching at Craigmont High School. This is my 7th year teaching; previously I taught 7th grade ELA at American Way Middle School and English II and English III at Melrose High School.  

I was born and raised in Memphis. I attended Christian Brothers University where I majored in English Education. In addition to my Bachelor's Degree, I recently graduated with my Masters of Art and Education degree. I enjoy spending time with my husband, reading books, taking pictures, acting in plays and writing poetry in my spare time. 
 
My class is an excuses-free zone. I believe that you are the future's best weapon; therefore, it is my job to hold you accountable, help you see your potential, and help you to think critically, in addition to assisting you as you become a better reader, writer and learner.


You may be asking why I call my classes "Bond University"; well, it is simple. As your teacher, it is my duty to not only prepare for the test, but to prepare you for the world and how to be successful in it.
So get ready to push yourself harder than you ever have before. Please note that no excuses are welcomed nor allowed.
