This is my 9th year teaching 1st grade and fourth year at Richland! I have a husband, almost 4 year old boy, and 18 month old little boy. I am currently taking classes to become a certified Reading Specialist with the Memphis Literacy Institute through Christian Brothers University. I absolutely love teaching first grade because it is the year that children start to really LOVE learning. Once they see all they can accomplish with hard work, the sky is the limit! This year, we will work together to make your student's year successful! I am always open to communicate about your student's experience in our classroom.
