    Peer Power ACT Prep University

    ACT Prep University is an ACT test preparatory program open to Shelby County Schools high school students. Peer Power Foundation conducts the program in partnership with University of Memphis and SCS. Our program focuses on test-taking strategies and subject content development. The goal is for Shelby County Schools students achieve higher ACT scores, with the outcome of greater college choice and increased scholarship opportunities.

    Our program takes place at The University of Memphis on Saturdays from 9:30AM-12:30PM. Each round is comprised of 5 sessions of instruction. Each session is run by a team of trained Peer Power Success Coaches who familiarize students with the structure and timing of the ACT, reinforce content learned in high school courses through review, and facilitate the practice of test taking strategies through activities and short practice tests. Access to online resources for at-home practice between sessions is also provided.     Open to 9 – 12th grade, SCS students.  Deadline to Submit is May 22nd, 2020
