Mrs. Loralee Mooney
Welcome back to school! My name is Loralee Mooney. I graduated from Michigan State University with my bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech Science. I graduated from the University of Memphis with my master's degree in teaching with a focus on special education and Deaf education, and I also received an additional teaching certification in English 7-12. I have been the speech pathologist and the English/reading teacher for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students since 1999, so this will be my 23rd year teaching. I have an open-door policy, and I encourage communication between teachers, parents, and students. Communication is a key to success for this school year! Please always reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns! It takes a village for our students to be successful!

I'm from Michigan, and I still visit family there when I get the chance! I have been married for 20 years to my wonderful husband. My daughter will be a 9th grader, and my son will be a 6th grader this school year. We have many cats and two dogs that we love very much!
