Bienvenido Todos!

My name is Juan Valdez and I am a Band Director for Overton. I teach beginnig band, Pre-AP Music Theory, Chamber Music Class, and CAPA Band. 

I am orginally from the state of Oregon. I recieved my Bachelor of Music from the University of Oregon and 2 Master Degrees from the Univeristy of Memphis.

I have many interests revolving music. My main instrument is the Tuba! I have played for 20 years! I love performing with my Brass Quintet as well as perform with symphony orchestras.

I am so excited to have be here at OVERTON! Lets make some music!
