Welcome to Ms. Rook's Kindergarten Class!  This is my 21st year of teaching with Memphis - Shelby County Schools.  This will be my eleventh year at Lucy.  I have previously taught Kindergarten, first, second, third, and fifth grade.  However, my heart is in Kindergarten.  I love being able to build a foundation and a love of learning for my students.

I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Crichton College and I earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from  Arkansas State University.

I have a son and a daughter, who have grown and flown.  My son is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston.  My daughter is a graduate of Paul Mitchell The School and is a new mom to my first grandbaby.  I also have a very spoiled miniature schnauzer named Tucker.  I love spending time with my family, traveling, reading, serving at my church, and watching Notre Dame football.
